Stratford-Upon-Avon
Aft’r spending Twelve Nights trying to s’rt out parking (one machine not w’rking, the oth’r taking chinks only, can’t download app because of Australian apple account, voice recognition issues etc, etc. ) we arrived in Stratf’rd-upon-Avon.
Speak of a Midsumm’r’s Night-MARE! we hath tried to payeth our respects at the grave of the most wondrous bard, but alas – tis within Holy Trinity Church, which, of course is did clos’d due to the plague.
We did seeth plenty of Macbeth-and-breakfasts. Many of those folk in the Tud’r Inn style.
To see ‘r not to see? Yond is the questioneth!
While eating our leftov’r ‘zza f’r lunch, a curious dog cameth sniffing ’round looking hopeful, but promptly did hurry off as his owneth’r hath called “Out, damn’d Spot!“
Despite the plague, we at each moment Hath-a-way to keepeth on sightseeing!
We art, of course, grateful f’r the restrictions yond has’t been did lift, but we’ve yet to findeth out at which hour we can meeteth with people again, in thund’r, lightning, ‘r in rain
Catcheth thee lat’r.

I know the restrictions might seem like a pain but boy you are getting to see England at its best! Usually the challenges & frustrations of parking in popular areas, and the huge crowds of people would make the sightseeing experience quite different!! On our last trip back to the UK we wanted to re visit Bourton on the Water to show our son’s Aussie girlfriend who was with us, but as it was a sunny day parking was actually completely impossible and after over half an hour of driving around we actually gave up . . . . . . So enjoy the peace and continue to send outstanding pics . . . xx

Alas, poor thee twoeth, such a shame that the Cathedral was closed due to plague and that you were not able to pay your respects to the Bard. One would not know plague exists here. Crows Nest has not lost its hustle and bustle. Everyone out and about early in the a.m. purchasing their croissants (me included) and coffee. I hope that you get to do a tour of Scotland and Ireland before returning to Oz. I think I already said that. Anyway, I loveth the tour of Bardtown, aka Stratford on Avon. Love and hugs, Petrochio Fornero

This feels like a Jarrah post.
Sandy, I don’t want to point out the obvious, but (in a whispered tone) I think Jarrah may have had a stroke. That or she’s fallen down and banged her head. Her typing has really gone astray! You may want to seek medical attention …… (normal speaking voice) Wait. No. No. Don’t do that. She’s fine. Just get her a drool rag and she’ll be right as rain!
