Hop On/Hop Off Tour
A few snaps from the hop on/hop off tour we did a couple days ago around Puerto Vallarta, starting at our hotel and taking a trip along the coast. It was a bit of a strange experience – we booked tickets online for the next day (which were promptly confirmed and sent to us), only to be told the tour wasn’t going to run until the following weekend, for the bus to then arrive as scheduled the next morning. Then, the tour itself was a little weird, as it didn’t stop at every stop, instead only at a few that were listed, transforming a traditional hop on/hop off adventure into more of a hop on/stay on/take random 5-minute breaks experience. Anyhow, we still got to see some beautiful sights as we drove by a variety of beaches.
Interestingly, one of the things we noticed as we were driving through the ‘city centre’ were a bunch of posters for a variety of drag acts, as well as pride flags hanging over balconies and windows – it seems that this specific part of town is very accepting and welcoming of the LGBT+ community.

Looks lovely, but how funny about the hop-on hop-ff (not) tour!! Don’t know what the temp is where you ladies are, but it is stinking hot here in Sydney – most uncomfortable and unladylike! Have fun 🙂

Weather has been a balmy 28 to 30 degrees but the last few days it’s cooled down to about 24 degrees – so very pleasant. Temps will be considerably cooler from Monday when we arrive in San Fran 🙂 Temps in Sydney (and Oz in general are very frightening given bushfire situation)
