Adderbury
Adderbury’s recorded history begins more than 1,000 years ago but its origins go even further back with two Roman sites within the parish. The name Adderbury is derived from that of Eadburgesbyrig first mentioned in a Saxon Will circa 990-995. The modern civil parish of Adderbury East and West with Milton covers 4,028 acres.
One of those villages of stone and thatch houses where practically every building has a name indicating its former life. Beehive Cottage, Beggars Roost, Coach House, Grange Cottage, Lock Keepers Cottage …

How beautiful in the time of Corona. Thank you for a lovely respite. Continue to enjoy your travels through England that look so much more beautiful than crass US. Stay safe!

Thanks Pat – only “travelling” on foot at the moment. In lockdown for the last 2 weeks – only allowed out once a day for exercise.

Another interesting observation – I love how narrow the roads appear here. I’m hoping the “RV beginner’s course” that was the US will translate into you guys being able to navigate these village roads without knocking over a garage or two. 😀
